About 156 Enfield Place — Tiara Condos
Built in 2004 Touchtone Construction Ltd., the façade of the Tiara Condos features a classic combination of red brick, concrete, and glass. The high-rise tower reaches to 25 storeys and contains 285 homes, and is home to a relatively young group of residents. Most residents living at 156 Enfield Place are under the age of 55, and, unsurprising for a diverse city like Mississauga, many languages other than English are commonly spoken in the building, include Polish, Arabic, Urdu, and Mandarin.
Inside 156 Enfield is a grand, double-height lobby, as well as an impressive roster of amenities: residents have access to a gym, sauna, indoor pool and hot tub, squash court, and library, plus visitor parking. And during the warmer months, residents can often be found barbecuing and eating al fresco in the building’s common outdoor space.
The Suites
With suites ranging from around 600 to 1,800 square feet, prospective residents of all sorts can find something suitable at 156 Enfield. Homes contain up to three bedrooms, and some also boast dens. Kitchens vary at the Tiara Condos, with some railroad-style and others open concept, and every suite is well lit thanks to an abundance of windows.
The Neighbourhood
Mississauga’s Fairview neighbourhood offers residents the best of both worlds: it’s steps from all the attractions in the downtown core, yet close to plenty of schools and parks. Speaking of parks, 156 Enfield is right down the street from Kariya Park, a Japanese-style garden named for Kariya, Mississauga’s sister city in Japan.
When residents feel like eating out, they can simply cross the street in order to reach a commercial centre with some great options. A more elaborate date night for residents, on the other hand, might involve a trip to Cineplex Cinemas, Playdium Amusement Centre, or the Living Arts Centre.
Transportation
Travelling to and from the Tiara Condos is simple, especially with a number of highways so close at hand — drivers can use Hurontario Street to reach the 403, the 401, or the QEW in no time. As for those who rely on public transit to get around, the nearest bus stops can be found at Enfield Place and Kariya Drive and at Matthews Gate and Hurontario. The Cooksville GO Station isn’t far off either, with the 19 Hurontario bus carrying residents to the station in less than 15 minutes.
